We're the Only Ones Kicked When We're Down Enough

"It's easy to criticize police. It's only 13,000 [officers] . . . Kick 'em when they're down. Kick 'em and keep kicking 'em.
What, you mean like this?

We've asked before, why is it when one of your subjects gets taken in, you don't consider releasing their names to be kicking them when they're down? Don't answer that--it was a rhetorical question.

Yeah, go ahead and blame guns. If I were you or any of your corrupt "Only One" goons, I'd be plenty leery of armed citizens, too, and deservedly so.

It's the old communist model. They already know they are immoral and don't have any legal ground to stand on. So, accuse your accuser of what you are doing, to confuse spectators and obfuscate the principle. There are always enough lax people around who only pay attention to headlines, and enough opportunists to cement your cause as being right. As for those who know the score and pay attention to your skullduggery, sooner or later you arrest them, and beat the living crap out of them and threaten their lives, families, etc. and next time you do your dirt, you won't hear a peep out of them.

Exactly right, Sean. And that's why Chicago has its gun ban in place: so the cops can do this without fear of retribution.

Yeah Snake, that's true. But fear is exhausting and in time becomes insupportable. When that happens the purveyors of fear invariably find themselves against a wall being offered a blindfold.

It it inevitable. Though, I admit it seems as though there is no sticking point past which our fear is ineffective, there really is.

Ask any of the regimes that practiced it in the past. All have been replaced. Sometimes the replacements have been as bad as the original, as in China and damn near every African nation, but there turn against the wall will come too.

one it should have been is and one there should have been their.

No, I don't want no damn blindfold.

Let us not forget the recurrent scandal in Chicago involving police making bogus traffic stops of pretty young girls, arresting them and taking them downtown for a detailed, multiple-cop-witnessed strip search.

Strangely enough, there's never been a report that this has happened to ugly old men.

The corruption is just mind-boggling.

Ah, yes, Chicago, the original corrupt machine that taught everybody else how it's done. Mayor Daley is one of the stupidest people ever to disgrace a public office. You should hear him on the news, he can't even string together a coherent sentence, everything you read about him has been cleaned up so he doesn't seem to be as big of an idiot as he really is.

Well Daly has a point, why, don't you realize that a thing like this could stop unprovoked attacks against tiny little barmaids by Only Ones?

Hell, then how would they assert their ascendancy over "ordinary" citizens?

Kick 'em again, and again, and again.
