Despite a court order, a police detective has repeatedly failed to show up to give a deposition in a Brooklyn man’s lawsuit charging police brutality. Now the city says the detective has retired and cannot be found, an explanation that has failed to satisfy the judge overseeing the case...All I can say, Mr. Victor, is you're lucky you didn't "lift a finger" against him.
The detective accused of beating Mr. Victor, Dwayne L. Chandler, has missed five appointments to give his own sworn account of the case.
D'ya think former "Only One" Chandler still carries a gun...?

Wow, in New York where I live, A person missing a court ordered deposition would have a bench warrent issued for their arrest.
