Another UK Gun Registration Victory

A gun stolen from a British military base or smuggled by troops from Afghanistan or Iraq has been used in the attempted murder of a policewoman, The Observer can reveal.
Wow, it's a good thing the Brits keep such meticulous registration lists so stuff like this won't happen. Plus nobody keeps more meticulous inventory records than the military...

The only guns which can be legally registered in the UK are for hunting. What has this to do with an army weapon in Iraq and how would a registration scheme prevent a gun from being stolen? If someone told you it would, I think they might just've been "yanking your chain". You gun nuts are just so gullible.

What IS it with you? What? Do you have severe reading comprehension problems, or is your irony meter busted again? You just succeeded in MISSING THE WHOLE POINT OF THE POST!

If YOU are the level of intellectual competition we "gun nuts" are facing, I'll be able to buy a new M240G before I'm 60.
