Banking on Disarmament

Citi Merchant Services and First Data Corp. are refusing to process any credit card transactions between federally licensed firearms retailers, distributors and manufacturers -- a move which will severely limit available inventory of firearms and ammunition to military, law enforcement and law-abiding Americans.

Both CALM and REASONABLE emails sent. For the life of me, being so with our enemies and the ignorant is exasperating. But I would guess that you, David, are a monument,by now, to exasperation.

Here is how I phrased my response:
It has been brought to my attention that Citi Merchant Services and First Data Corp. are refusing to process any credit card transactions between federally licensed firearms retailers, distributors and manufacturers. The result of this type of action will severely limit available inventory of firearms and ammunition to military, law enforcement and law-abiding Americans, putting our nations security at risk.
I insist that this policy should be terminated, and if it is not, I will be moving any accounts I have with either company to another more responsible entity.

I found the article "Banking on Disarmament" very interesting because it illustrates
where we are headed, not only in the matter of firearms, but our whole society. We
are presently in a transitional period that will take us into a completely cashless
economic system. Once this is done we will no longer have the option of personal
cash transactions with one another. This means that those who control the system
will have absolute control of our personal finances. They will be able to control what
we buy, where we buy it, from whom we buy, how much we pay, how often we make
purchases, etc.
What tyrants have been unable to accomplish with armies and police they will
accomplish buy controlling every person's ability to buy and sell.
I encourage you to look at my website (see below), and to read my book, "Steps
Toward the Mark of the Beast".
What is being done by Citicorp is another step toward the mark of the beast.

Pastor Guest- "We" will never have a cashless society unless "we" allow it. I will not, as I have and will use, silver. Never forget that government money is not and never has been the only option. Federal Reserve Notes are the government's counterfeit money.

citi group just sold 12% +/- to saudi / muslim investors to bail themselves out of their mismanagement.

Could the muslims have diminished firearms availability in the United States as part of their world conquest plan???

Yes!

Do not do business with citibank -

Fight islam Now

The NSSF story made the claim that Citi is "seizing funds."

"We were contacted recently by First Data/Citi Merchant Services by a June Rivera-Mantilla stating that we were terminated and funds were being seized for selling firearms in a non-face-to-face transaction," said Charlie Crawford, president of CDNN Sports Inc.

This cannot possibly be legal, can it?

It doesn't surprise me, though. I've been reading stories about how CitiBank has been busy screwing it's customers since the early 1970's.

I simply told them that, as a small business owner, they have lost all ability to ever do any sort of business with me because of this policy.

I doubt they will care too much unless enough people do the same. On the bright side, it makes looking for financial partners easier!

"Dear Sirs,

I am writing to express my deep concern that Citigroup has chosen to refuse to process any credit card transactions between federally licensed firearms retailers, distributors and manufacturers.

These are perfectly legal transactions conducted by law abiding persons and businesses, protected by the second Amendment to the United States Constitution.

I am appalled that you have taken such action.
I will make a point of not using your financial products and services until such time as you rectify this situation.

The letter of cancelation from First Data/Citi Merchant Services representative June Rivera-Mantilla is here:

If this is CitiBank, we could take all the credit card offers from them and fill the pre-paid envelopes with trash and let them pay to have trash mailed to themselves.

Dear Sirs,
Your recent policy to not process credit card transactions between federally licensed firearms dealers and distributors is ridiculous. You have forever lost my business. I will make sure that everyone I know and do business with are aware of your attempt to use your position as a major banking concern to restrict business in this country between lawful parties. Since you have taken on the role of social arbiter, what is Citi's policy regarding transactions at bars, strip clubs, and other businesses it may not agree with? I wonder if the policy is associated with Citi's infusion of cash from the Middle East to cover other less than stellar business practices and policies such as Sub-Prime Lending.

Your loss,
Kyle Litz
