I take back everything I've said.

And his comments are moderated. No wonder there's only one, and it supports his position.
Quick! Here's the antidote for the Kool-Aid:

Quote:
* I support the work of the NRA, but disagree sometimes. (Dec 2007)
* Ok to ban lethal weapons that threaten police. (Dec 2007)
* Supports Second Amendment rights but also assault weapon ban. (May 2007)
* Will support assault weapons bill and Brady Bill. (Aug 1994)
Also check out the quotes. Tells the complete opposite of the mitthead's story. Examples:
"I signed an assault weapon ban in Massachusetts [as] governor..."
...he then goes on to claim that it had some paperwork benefit that somehow outweighs liberty.
"...But I would look at weapons that pose extraordinary lethality."
Here's the "extreme weapons" nonsense again. I guess he's going to ban SWAT teams? A mid-power cartridge in rifle is hardly extraordinarily lethal.
"First of all, there's no question that I support 2nd Amendment rights, but I also support an assault weapon ban."
I understand the meaning of "shall not be infringed", but I also think that everything related should be rigidly controlled and restricted.
Indistinguishable from Clinton on this issue.
To bad more of them don't drink Jim Jones' brand of Kool-Aid!
I'm a former Mass resident and owned firearms when I lived there.
Mitt Romney supporters claiming he supported the RKBA or made the onerous gun laws in that state any better are delusional.
Bet they don't publish my comment.
Yeah, I wrote this:
""streamlined and straightforward as possible for law abiding citizens to legally possess and use weapons."
Are you freakin kidding me?!?!
As a MA resident and gun owner I'm amazed anyone can make a statement like that without choking on the absurdity of it.
MA has some of the MOST ONEROUS gun laws IN THE NATION, bar none!
The burden in paperwork, and financial cost to law abiding citizens wishing to exercise their right enumerated under the 2nd Amendment is staggering.
To own any firearm in MA, even in your own home costs hundreds of dollars, and months of paperwork. To even apply. You are VERY likely to be refused permission based on where you live and or who you know, all at the discretion of local Law Enforcement. Want to appeal?
Hundreds to thousands more expense, and months more delay with little hope of a different outcome.
Romney had a crappy gun rights record. This is all lipstick on a pig."
Not a chance that comment will appear!
Bah!
