Red's Before the Bench
"Have you ever made a mistake taking a note," he asked Rushing in an accusatory tone...
"Do you maintain that every dealer should not make a single mistake?" he asked. "Dealers make mistakes; Do they not? Have you ever made a mistake?
No...not BATFU....
Nice of them to spring this supposed "10-gun rule" in court as a surprise "Gotcha!" tactic, like a bunch of damn juveniles. You'd think that'd be in writing somewhere and emphasized to all dealers. But then, that would presuppose their purpose was to ensure compliance, as opposed to closing down gun dealers any way they can, even by holding secret standards against them. Let's hope the judge notices.
Read carefully, you'll note those 10 alleged transactions occurred eight years ago. And remember, just because a gun is identified as a "crime gun" doesn't mean it was actually used in an act of violence--or was obtained "lawfully" from the original dealer.
Ryan has more.

Case number is 1:07-cv-00090

Yes--I entered the case number and did get a schedule--it had two links that I clicked on--they both went to log-in pages warning that it is for official court business only and attempting to access is a violation of US Code, subject to being monitored, logged and prosecuted. God forbid "We the People" should have access to information about judicial proceedings involving citizens' rights and property--it seems that is reserved exclusively for the robed priesthood and favored "Only Ones."
And if we try to look at the Forbidden Knowledge of our masters anyway, they will crush and destroy us.
sort of like batfu isn't it. If we make mistakes we'lll hide them and blame the citizen for sloppy record keeping.
With the shape BATFU's records are in, how the Hell can they convince anyone the failure isn't on their end?
Sorry, I can't like directly to it, but I figured it would be handy to see what was scheduled.
Slightly more detail can be found by using the fields on the left to search on Judge Lodge's calendar, but only up to a week in advance.
