"An NRA Member and Hunter"

An NRA member and hunter who has had a gun since he was "a kid," Dean said he supports the Second Amendment and students’ rights to protest, but not the intended outcome of the SCCC. Dean said trained officers, not unskilled students, should respond to any campus emergency.

"I don’t want to see someone use a weapon under stress and not hit their intended target. The educational environment is not the place for firearms," he said. "Our police response to any place on campus is under two minutes."

Right.

We'll save you.

We're "The Only Ones."

Chief, you just told the world you support the Second Amendment. Then, out of the other side of your mouth, you endorse citizen disarmament. Care to tell us what you think "the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed" means? Care to tell us how ensuring defenselessness among the most physically capable segment of the citizen militia enhances "the security of a free state"? Care to tell us why anyone should believe a word you say?

Yeah, you're a hunter and an NRA member and a disarmament enforcer. Something for everyone to love! Why, you're a regular one man good cop/bad cop routine, aren't you, Chief?

I'd say pick a side, but it's evident you already have, and the wrong one at that.

This group(SCCC) is doing great work. It is telling the world the truth, and it won't be ignored!
They are media savvy and network like pros.
It takes away the arguements of victim disarmers.I love um!

Sounds like he is right in line with the official NRA "enforcer-worshipping" mentality.

This idiot needs to be reminded about what happened here at Virginia Tech.

From the Report of the Virginia Tech Review Panel, "Chapter III - Timeline of Events," p. 25

About 7:15 a.m. - Cho shoots Hilscher in her room(4040) at WAJ. He also shoots Ryan Christopher Clark, an RA.

7:17 a.m. - Cho’s access card is swiped at Harper Hall (his residence hall). He goes to his room to change out of his bloody clothes.

TWO MINUTES!!! The killer was already gone and safe in his room! Even worse, the police were not called until FIVE minutes had passed, and were given the wrong information!

7:20 a.m. - The VTPD receives a call on their administrative telephone line advising that a female student in room 4040 of WAJ had possibly fallen from her loft bed. The caller was given this information by another WAJ resident near room 4040 who heard the noise.

(Report found at http://www.governor.virginia.gov/TempContent/techPanelReport.cfm)

If the police aren't called until after the shooting is over, no response time is fast enough!

It is also believed that by the time the police got the first call for the shootings at Norris Hall, 9 people were already dead!

When someone walks in and starts killing, the "only ones" who can stop it are the ones who are already there!
