Newly published figures show that 30,093 people took their own lives in 2007 — a 2.9 per cent increase in a year — leaving the country as the most suicide-prone anywhere in the developed world and rendering government efforts to combat the problem a failure.

An empty culture. Success or total humiliation. Many Japanese commit suicide at school age because of the pressure to be #1, and everybody can't be #1.
When an ant hill is destroyed, some ants die in frustration. Fact of nature. The queen, however, survives. All others are expendable, and they know it.
If they just didn't have any guns in Japan, there would be no suicide.
Could we lend them the Joyce Foundation, Maximum Mike, Sarah, VPC et.al. until they can help Japan straighten out their mess?

Japan has another dirty secert. They claim a low murder rate but they claim that when a parent kills their family and themsevles
that this is a "family suicide".
Many deaths but no murder.
One more thing not well known is that 98% of crimes are solved by "confession". The police round up some one and torture them until they get what they want.
Their courts rubber stamp this!
A colony of insects- no wonder suicide is popular!
