They're supposed to protect and serve, but in just the past month, four local cops have found themselves on the wrong end of the law.Let's see--the fox guarding the henhouse was caught with feathers in his mouth and beating the people in their lives just goes along with the job. I guess setting up a roadblock to look for criminals gives as good a cover as any.
No doubt just a few bad apples--far be it from me to suggest pervasive and open corruption and brutality would ever be institutionalized in a department run with such earned and savvy competence.
But just so I understand the argument made by the antis in Heller: Guys like these were The "Only Ones" the District wanted armed...?
