What a Difference a Percentage Point Makes

But being 99% honest is no longer enough.
This is "being 99% honest"?
"The story is false," he told reporters then. "It's completely untrue, ridiculous." He professed his love for his wife, who had an incurable form of cancer, saying, "I've been in love with the same woman for 30-plus years and as anybody who's been around us knows, she's an extraordinary human being, warm, loving, beautiful, sexy and as good a person as I have ever known. So the story's just false."
Dig yourself deeper, weakling.

The punk can't control himself but wants to control us. The liar's own family can't trust him but he wants us to.

What a hollow fraud.

The guy is a crook who ripped off doctors and hospitals for some many millions of dollars using junk science. He destroyed the field of OBGYN's in his state that many woman who needed doctors didn't have anyone to help them but a GP.
This piece of shit is a liberal lawyer, and so is his wife who I personally have no respect for. She has made some strong statements against gun and gun owner. Lay with dogs and get up bugged.
The democrat party is a party of the worst examples of lawyers. Bill and Hillary, lawyers. This POS and his wife lawyers. Oboma and his hateful wife, lawyers. John Kerry, lawyer. OK Algore flunked out of law school but he tired.
The very worst lawyer is a low life piece of shit who uses his or her law degree to find a way to cheat other people out of what they have worked hard for all their lives. This story is about a piece of shit who lives in a 50,000 square foot home and wants us to not have homes larger than 1,800 square foot and have no SUV parked in the garage. Along with that 1,800 home not having any firearms in it too!
You got it David, he's nothing but pure sucm.

First time I saw him, thought he was another lyin' Baptist preacher, looking for donations for his mega-church, his mistresses, and his luxury car stable. Them preachers USED to be men of G*d, but the siren song of riches has turned them away. Much like the silky pony. Takes a big man to walk out on his dying wife and children and pump some scag. What a gentleman.

The sad part of this is that many who are throwing stones are guilty of the very same thing in the eyes of the LORD God. Moreover, many who stand for our physical liberty will spend eternity in the same Hell that Edwards is going to.

The rule of the LORD is this:

Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. (Matthew 5:27-28)

The reason why is this:

But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart. (I Samuel 16:7)

And this:

For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. (James 2:10-11)

Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. (Matthew 5:21-22)

And yes, I know that none of you like the following, which was stated by the LORD God through Ezekiel:

Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die. (Ezekiel 18:4)

Yes, Edwards is a hypocrite, a gun-grabber and a thief. But, he and those “on the other side,” are not specifically the problem in America. If you want to see the problem, look in the mirror. We are all the problem at this point.

I knew that most everyone who commented here would be scathing about Edwards, and that David would make the kind of comments that were made. I am not going to justify Edwards and his sin. But I would remind all of you that it is not a matter of being “weak,” but is a matter of not acknowledging a truth of how we all are. Simply put, a man should not work closely with a woman he is not married to, and should never be alone with a woman that is not his wife. That is why the Scripture instructs:

Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. (I Corinthians 6:18)

Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband. The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife. (I Corinthians 7:1-4)

Given the right provocation, under the circumstances Edwards placed himself, everyone will fall — you included David.

However, the rest of what Edwards has done is NOT subject to the same weaknesses of the flesh. One does not have to be devoid of commonsense and reason, as Edwards so often is.

Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. (Jeremiah 17:5)

Hey Paul, it's Edwards who says people like me can't be trusted with freedom. I'm simply pointing out how absurd it is for him to be the one casting that stone.

I've told you before, several times, in private correspondence, that I don't wish to engage on religion with you. This is not the place for evangelizing--that's not why I put all the work into this site that I do. I'm trying to be polite.

That's fine. Attitudes like yours toward the gospel are precisely why this country will never again see the liberty she once enjoyed.

The Founders encouraged teaching from the Scripture and the preaching of the gospel. Moreover, they defended it. Today it is despised and not welcomed.

Jefferson was a Deist, but he certainly wasn't adverse to hearing the gospel — he just didn't accept it.

It wouldn't have mattered if you were polite or not, the message is loud and clear.

The Edwardses are hypocrites of the utmost pure hypocrisy. Their house covers an acre, and their private stables/gymnasium another one, and they go on and on about living simply so others can simply live. They wanted their Republican neighbor OUT of the neighborhood (he was there first) because of his gun ownership.
Some people still love him. People still love Clinton. Maybe they live vicariously through such people because they don't have the gall, money and connections to do the same and get away with it.
Now THAT'S the real sin. Saying that our leaders are larger-than-life, have bigger appetites and should not be under the same restrictions as us. They should inspires us, be EXAMPLES, not reflections of the basest impulses. They CERTAINLY shouldn't look down on US.
