The Ratings Game

If you are an NRA member, you should consider contacting them and asking how a freedom hating militant like Burdick does not get an "F" and Gordon Smith who promised to vote to renew Bill Clinton's gun ban gets an "A-" Meanwhile, anti-gun Attorney General candidate John Kroger is unrated, and vocally pro-gun candidate Jim Leuenberger is ignored.
Some have been calling for reforms for years--only to be ignored.

But just because Fairfax doesn't want to address it doesn't mean we shouldn't stop pressing them. Their credibility is not the fault of those who want them to actually have some. We are not responsible for their reputation. They are.

And the institutionalized deal-making and arrogance seem to be getting worse, not better.

Ron Paul also gets an A-. Ron Paul is the best person on guns in congress.

Ron Paul also voted against NRA's top priority in two Congresses, the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act. Votes should have consequences.

Guess who the joke is on?

I have stated this before:

The power of the NRA (or any organization) is in the number of people that are its members. If the number of members dwindles to nothing, then the organization ceases to be a voice and have any power or influence.

The NRA needs to die.

If I can openly walk out in the middle of a church service because I don't agree with the pastor, surely some of the folks that read this can have the spine to openly repudiate the NRA and call for its demise.

The leadership of the NRA needs to find out what it is like to lose their jobs.
