Newark, UK

Some business owners in this crime-plagued city say recent enforcement of a decades-old ordinance prohibiting some types of barbed wire and razor wire is making Newark more attractive — to thieves. [More]

Just leave the shed door open and 'ave a spot o' tea.

Its clearly becoming more understood by me as to what the British government is up to. What they are doing is making darn sure that there's plenty of crime so they can grow government. At what point do they intend on stopping this insanity, is anyone's guess. The only real question is how many lives and how much suffering is going to keep happening until the British government feels they have all the power they need. Will it be with all the subjects in prison style dorms for families who come out and work in government factories? Orwell perfectly.
Now lets look at how the British government and the US government are doing the very same thing but differently. Meaning they will get us to the same place but just taking different paths.
The US has a revolving door with violent criminals. 3 percent of the criminals commit 90 percent of all violent crimes. Which means the US government is growing government by using criminals to justify massive overbearing government just as the UK is.

Bet'cha that Buckingham Palace, Balmoral and Parliament are well-guarded! The regular subject is just SOL, though.

Check the byline. That's Newark, NJ, as in NEW JERSEY! It only looks like a foreign country.

LOL! I didn't read the story and go sucked into the UK part David added.
Perfect because in taking the bait, did in fact see the connection between the two countries.

Now having read the story. I'm wondering if the barbed wire will give the intercity too much of the prison look ahead of plans, LOL!

Do you remeber the SNL parody "Escape from New York, New York"?
