This would be a lot funnier if it were not so tragic.
But I love the picture, David. :) My sons and I spent many happy hours watching their antics, and those shows gave me lots of good opportunity to teach many life lessons.
if the cops can't identify their own as cops when they are in mufti, how the Hell is it to be expected that an ordinary citizen seeing them approaching with guns drawn is supposed to know they are cops?

You will not know thay are cops. See We're the Only Ones Proving Being Disarmed is Safer Enough" that follows. Remember the saying "When Guns Are Outlawed Only Outlaws Will Have Guns"? Apparently, that is in operation now for many officers who believe that only "bad guys" carry guns, so they should shoot anyone who does carry. Until inappropriate treatment of any form by authorities to the citizenry is consistently treated as a Federal Civil Rights violation, nothing will change. Demand change before you or you loved ones are harmed.
