Being a supporter of Aaron Zelman and JPFO, I'm not comfortable with captioning like "Israeli citizen" that has been added to this video. we need to be careful that when addressing Zionism, Marxism, the Jewish left, etc. that we don't paint all people with the brush of Antisemitism--something I see entirely too much of in some quarters.Nonetheless, I think letting this traitor's own words expose him is important, and thus link to a video you must see. Look, I'm against having an Israeli soldier as Chief of Staff. If he were a Canadian or Japanese soldier, I'd feel the same way. The U.S. needs to stop blowing AIPAC and the Zionists.

Interesting information about Rahm Emanuel.
According to The New American, February 2, 2009, Israel is literally Rahm's middle name. His father, Benjamin Emanuel, was born in Jerusalem and was a member of the militant Zionist group Irgun, which committed terrorist acts against British as well as Palestinian targets. Rahm Israel Emanuel himself volunteered to work for the Israeli military in 1991 during the first Gulf War.

I've had numerous gun board an rights board discussions about Anti-Zionism and Anti-Semitism.
I am of the belief that you can be against Israel and not Anti-Semitic.

My point here is with the charge that Emanuel is an Israeli citizen and is an Israeli soldier. Both present tense.
I believe Israel considers all Jews citizens, even though we really don't have a provision in our law to allow that. It's one of the things I went after Arnold on--he retained his Austrian citizenship, even though he swore an oath to renounce foreign allegiances when he became a US citizen.
The charge that Emanuel is a soldier in the Israeli Army has been disputed- reports I've read say he *was* a citizen volunteer during the first gulf war, not in the army.
I'm treading a line here--I think accuracy and truth are our most important assets. And I agree that there are subversives in this country, and believe Emanuel to be one of them.
I just want to take special care that we don't indict people because they are Jewish, and the captioning on the video lends itself to such inferences--or at least gets close enough to it that I felt a disclaimer of sorts was appropriate.

No.
I think the point to consider here is that given this guy's background and temperament there is legitimate cause for concern. Mr. Emanuel's allegiance MUST be to the United States of America, specifically to the Constitution/Bill of Rights. It is a fair assumption at this point that he, like his boss, doesn't give a damn about the Constitution/Bill of Rights.
Putting the that issue aside, this man's loyalty MUST NOT lie with a foreign country. ANY foreign country. Any one who would dare to suggest that pointing this out makes a person an anti-semite, or anti-anything, is only making a fool of themselves. Unfortunately, in today's politically correct, hyper-sensitive political climate this childish tactic of denunciation is frequently all it takes to silence opposing viewpoints.
While I completely understand Mr. Codrea's concern, it is troubling that these types of disclaimers must be issued. It demonstrates the extent to which those who wish to exert mental pressure to silence opposing viewpoints through fear have managed to set the game to their rules. Again, this is in no way a shot at David for covering his ass. Nowadays just call the kettle black and it's "hate speech."
It is sickening that so many truly hateful people have contaminated the honest efforts to preserve and defend this great Republic.
