Enforcing, Supporting, responding, intimidating, directing, - At some point the word “lying” comes to mind.
“[M]y personal opinions have no bearing here whatsoever.” Does this mean his oath is not relevant or that there’s a chance that his “personal opinions” are in conflict with his oath?
"I was following orders" became famous in 1946 Germany as the Nuremburg defense. Most who used it were hung for their war crimes.
