Unfreecycle

The Freecycle Network™ is made up of 4,696 groups with 6,480,000 members across the globe. It's a grassroots and entirely nonprofit movement of people who are giving (& getting) stuff for free in their own towns. [More]
Unless of course it's evil gunssss...
*** DO KEEP IT FREE, LEGAL, & APPROPRIATE FOR ALL AGES. This means, for example, no pornography, alcohol, tobacco, drugs (legal or otherwise), firearms or other weapons. Two strikes and you're out of the group.

What twits. I homebrew beer and mead. The only way I can currently legally dispose of it is for free.

Someone should set up a firearms and weapons only version of this. "I sold my AR-15 - does anyone want my extra .223 ammo?" That sort of thing.

At least this group is voluntary. That's the beauty of it. Folks who wish to trade other things can form their own group.

Besides, rational people BUY guns, not sell or give them away. At least not yet. :)

so basically i could go to their advertisers and tell them that i can double the traffic they pull in if they'd switch to my system.

all i have to do is change the rules to "anything goes."

Agree with Mr. Codrea's point, but
in actual practice I cannot imagine
anyone needing to resort to a freecycle list to give away a gun,
working or not.
