We're the Only Ones in Denial Enough

Ian Tomlinson was making his way home from work, trying to negotiate cordons thrown up as thousands of protesters gathered in London, when a helmeted and partially masked officer assaulted him in an apparently unprovoked attack. Minutes later, the 47-year-old collapsed and died of a heart attack. [More]

Then the Metro Bobbies make up a story about trying to help him when they were actually beating him, and that fiction would still stand if there hadn't been video to show what really happened...

Maybe there was no intent to mislead.

It sounds more like these "Only Ones" intended to flat-out lie.

When I first researched the story the overwhelming story from the popular media - that is, the select popular media that even covered the protests to begin with - unanimously claimed the police had nothing to do with his death. Thankfully, people bring tons of video cameras to these protests.

I don't understand the problem, isn't this what they wanted?

I have watched as Englishmen surrendered their status as humans and became livestock. I have watched as you disarmed, I have watched as you have accepted punishment for self-defense. I have watched as you have allowed your homes to be invaded by thugs because you feared the police and courts more than you feared rape or death. In other words I have watched as you became livestock, to be sheared, sold, butchered at the whim and profit of the herdsmen.

So, now one of the herdmen's heelbiters is rabid and kills one of the herd. What's the problem? There are plenty more for the profit of the herdsmen, right?
