Eight police officers serving with Scotland's largest force listed their official religion as Jedi in voluntary diversity forms, it has emerged. [More]So does that make these "Only Ones" Imperial Storm Troopers?
I know you may find my lack of faith disturbing, but look where we're talking about. Can there be a more wretched hive of scum and villainy than one where the good citizens are forcibly disarmed?

I'd hope these jedi are only screwing with a system that demands total exposure of personal info, just as I enter 'other' on any and all officious inquiries asking my race/ethnicity, etc.
I'm probably wrong.
This reminds me of a big joke played in Australia where there was a semi-coordinated effort to get "jedi" listed as an official religion during the census down under.
Are all their first names "Darth"?
It sounds more like the antagonistic Jedi rivals, the Sith, to me.
:-) Well then, with luck they'll do to each other what the Sith do.
I've got a bad feeling about this.
Re: Sean
In the UK or US a few years ago there was a Star wars convention in whcih I believe over 10,000-30,000 people showed up in full Stormtrooper uniforms. They even lined up in formation in the streets, and the "military parade" stretched for block after block.
Another result of mass-pop culture. Just like in Fahrenheit 451, people glued to their parlor TV walls, the talking electronic "families", etc...
From what I have heard, in Great Britain "Jedi" is one of the largest "minority religions". These people are serious, by the way. I have talked to some of them. Here is one of their websites: Temple of the Jedi Order
