Extra Precautions

"We took extra precautions because he is a veteran and has had weapons training, so we felt it was better to err on the side of caution," Shambaugh said. [More]
But "the details of Meadows' alleged actions have not been made public."

I wonder why not?

Hey, the guy may have warranted this approach. We won't know until we know what he did--and why that should be withheld ought to be as much a cause for concern as anything--if citizens are going to be dragged off, We the People need to know why.

At this point, I'm merely noting that there are some, veterans among them, who apparently will be approached with certain training-based assumptions...

Those of us who think they may fit into this category may want to take some extra precautions.

Remember, a NObama bumper sticker on a vehicle has been construed as a "threat."
I'm glad we heard about Meadows' arrest AT ALL. The time may come when we won't. And how is the SWATted Lundeby teenager from North Carolina doing, in his Gitmo-like Indiana incarceration without a hearing, without contact with his mother?
Secrecy and good government CANNOT coexist.
Those who think their local sheriff, the supreme law enforcement official of the county, will intercede with the feds in hard times, think HARD about that.

That is why they want to disarm everyone. They're afraid of us. Just not enough, yet.
