Perhaps we ought to start referring to Mike Noland as either "Linus" or "The Great Pumpkin" and see if we can spread it around enough to where it sticks. If anyone deserves to be ridiculed, it's this...uh...thumbsucker.

When I was first learning to read as a kid, I got a lot of practice from reading my mother's collection of old Peanuts paperback collections.
The problem with this reference is that Linus also used his blanket as a weapon on more than one occasion. He didn't just clutch it and hope for the best.
