It will, of course, not stop one gangbanger from getting a gun or getting ammunition for it. They have networks all over the country. If anything, it will increase crime by this very dangerous segment, which will now have lucrative incentives for boosting outside the law supply chain activities.Today's Gun Rights Examiner column looks at another assault in the State of California's war on gun owners.
What it will also do is create further economic hardships for and harassment of people who continue to endure in-your-face infringements from politicians who hate everything they stand for. Which is part of the intent. [More]

He will either sign it or ignore it. By ignoring it, it will automatically become law on Oct 11.
I cannot foresee anything different from this Austrian globalist whose father was a Nazi.
I am sooooooo glad that I escaped from the great socialist state of Kalifornication in '73.

Rather than sign it, the Governator should just ram it up his ass, and call it macaroni.
He will, accompanied by great fanfare.
I've been stacking it as deep as I can all year. I plan to be out of here within 2 years. I've been finding some sweet deals on craigslist by people who have no clue ammo prices have doubled in the last four years! .308 Port BP $60 four of them... yeah that kind of deal!
If Ahnold signs the bill, ammo manufacturers should grow a pair and follow Barrett's lead.
When Ahnold signed the .50 cal rifle ban, Barrett terminated all business with California law enforcement. Should Ahnold sign or otherwise allow the ammo registration bill to become law, ammo manufacturers should terminate all business with and sales to California law enforcement. The civilian market can pick up the slack, plus cops will have to think about on whose side they should belong.
This is a note regarding 'ammo control' as a backdoor to disarmament. My local gun dealer told me that ammo must be transferred through a licensed FFL, so now if people want to get rid of ammo they have to hand it over to the government or give it to a FFL.
As I want to own a salvage yard I'm signed up for some state newsletters regarding the business. A rather subtle way for the government to keep ammo out of the publics hands. It's a bit of an incremental attack on our gun rights.
