We're the Only Ones Officially Oppressive Enough

A Pennsylvania state trooper is facing assault charges for allegedly punching a motorist and pointing a stun gun at the man's face. [More]
For some reason, I read the "Only One's" name as "Shutthef**kupski." Which seems to go along with taking the citizen's cell phone when he tried to call 911.

Hey, at least we got the LEO's name this time...

I vote for execution of this trooper. That is the only way we can keep him from being reinstated with back pay after a "die down" period for bad publicity, if history is any guide.

Strap him in, turn on the juice and then let the union represent him.

The time is coming when roadside executions of officers such as he will be the preferred method of dealing with the badge heavy bastards. That's a sorry state of affairs, but the administrations that refuse to severely punish the criminals in their midst and invariably end up reinstating them, will at some point have left no other reasonable option for citizens who will not accept abuse.

Think how much law enforcement has deteriorated that the foregoing is the only "reasonable" response.

Doesn't Pennsylvania have an "assault while armed with a firearm" charge instead of the simple assault?

StraightArrow,
Before you execute him, castrate him first. Then he can't pass on his "Only Ones" stupid genes to the next generation.

Too early to tell exactly how this one is going to go, but I'm sure the judge will be complicit in seeing that justice never happens.

That's the way it always goes.

Except for this judge. It finally dawned on one of them that they're creating monstrous "Only Ones", and those "Only Ones" don't like the leash they have to wear.

Punching someone out doesn't sound like a good "customer service approach" to dealing with motorists. The organization might need to work on revising its policies with an eye towards improving its standards regarding customer care.

Went there TJP and read the article. My assessment is that that judge has not seen the light about runaway rogue law enforcement agencies. I think it's just a pissing match between two huge egos. IOW "whose dick is the biggest"?

If Kerik hadn't disobeyed that judge but had committed an infraction against anyone else, he would still be walking around.
