Johnny Augustus Baltazar, 50, is accused of illegally shipping 10 handguns and 1,500 rounds of ammunition to the Central American nation of Belize, where he owns a private security company. [More]How anyone working for the LAPD could ever get the idea that they are the "Only Ones" authorized to have guns is beyond me.
Where could he have ever come up with a crazy idea like that?

As a matter of fact, there should be no charges levied at all. Everything about these laws is repugnant to the constitution.
However, since repugnancy to the constitution seems to be the coin government is dealing in, it should be enlightening, to the dolts who haven't been paying attention, if this Only One receives far better treatment and far less punishment than either Fincher or Olofson. My bet is that he will.
The principled side of me says the charges should be dropped, but the side of me that cries for justice is less than sympathetic for someone foist on his own petard when he has served a master who has waged just such unjust war against others who made the mistake of believing they were free men.
BTW, the word verification is "undone". Prophetic, don't you think?
It would be great in a certain sense if it were found that he'd done this before and some of the firearms turned up in the hands of a drug cartel in Mexico.
