It's not up to police to "teach 'em a lesson". That's a job for the courts. Unfortunately, too many law enforcement and correctional officers have the "teach 'em a lesson" attitude.

How they feel about our gun rights is how they feel about ALL our rights. I see more government repression than I can remember since ... since the firehoses and police dogs were turned on civil rights demonstrators in Selma.
