How is carrying a personal defense weapon in a peaceable manner in any way a threat to the peace? They NEVER say why. It's just implied that having access to a gun will magically turn them into a killer. But they feel fine when they see some mongoloid in a black uniform holding a machine gun in his hands with a finger an inch away from the trigger. Bizarro world.

Here's some very clear proof the cop in the story is a bold faced liar. First off how many stories have we heard about when someone calls 911 with a friend or loved one having a heart attack. The 911 parasite makes them answer a number of questions before moving forward and routing medical help. Being said if someone calls in, "man with a gun" why is that not followed up with some simple questions to make sure the situation is understood.
This is about control and cops do not like it when people are in control with the same power that they have. This is another classic example that shows cops are cowards and only the bad asses they try and pretend they are in groups.
People in AZ and NM have open carried for as long as I can remember and no issues. In fact I've seen biker types carrying open on their motorcycles in those states many times.
Sounds like the cops in the Bay Area need some training before they kill an honest citizen. Just because the cops are cowards and under trained isn't a reason that American citizens should give up their Constitutional rights.

I also notice that the article states that the US Constitution "gives" the right to keep and bear arms...
