Det. Tuason...[More]Let's see, Bay Area IP address...I wonder if it could be either him or a co-worker...?
Sorry pally--I consider it a "mistake" when I forget to carry the "2." Unless you mean he considers it a mistake that he allowed his true feelings to be exposed...
Laughing at citizens who can't get permission to carry concealed and "joking" about getting time off for killing one who carries openly hardly qualifies...

I worked and commuted through that area for more than a decade. I carried concealed for most of those years, without a license.
I always had in mind what could have happened if I had the bad luck to run into a morally challenged cop like Tuason. One of us would likely have been retired early, I had decided it would not be me.
I was very happy when I moved out of that God forsaken state.
Pat H, I have done much the same thing. I do not regret it and would do it again if I so decide. and without permission from anyone but myself, a free man.
David, I am sure Anonymous "who are we to decide....." is another cop. They only get all touchy-feely when they are talking about themselves.
But, I will answer his question. I am Charles Sawders, I do get to say what those consequences should be. As a free American I am charged with the same responsibility to the law as are police officers. I just don't get paid to make it my life's work. Therefore I am not always available when crime happens. But if and/or when I am, my responsibility is no less than yours.
Now knowing how Tuason views himself and me I would have no choice but to supply those consequences on site at time of conflict. A man who states he will murder me, is not safe, nor should he be. That Anon can't see that guarantees he is morally bereft.
Now Anon, who are you to decide we shouldn't be the ones to decide? C'mon man up and identify yourself as I have done.
Anonymous:"Det. Tuason made a mistake."
No, the thug advocated a criminal act: Murder. Under color of law at that. And then he chose to rub our noses in the fact that it would only result in a paid vacation for the killer.
And every other cop who stands up for Tuason in this joins the army of occupation that police departments increasingly become every day, and declares civilians the enemy. Fortunately for my town, our police absolutely refused to support a thug in uniform, and we got rid of him.
Cops need to understand this. Try turning it around and imagine some nutcase advocating killing people just because they're in uniform. You wouldn't like that, right.
Neither do we.
This is not a mistake. It is not a small matter. It is symptomatic of a large and growing problem with how cops view the people.
He is a thug, Quisling, a member of the SA, Stazi, Oprichnina, and all the other horrible types through out history. He should be exiled.
Please be sure to note that you meant Erich Roehm's SA and not Straightarrow.
