this morning i actually heard that crazy neocon shill laura ingraham say the words "they try to take away everything we love: our country, our flag, and our military." whose priorities are these? stand up, ye hitler youth! for this is the rankest jingoism. shall you lick the boot simply because your son or daughter wears it?

last i checked it was: 1) God 2) family 3) country.

and that's a real distant third when it no longer resembles the shining city on a hill it once was, but instead is used as a collectivist code word for the state: unlike edward everett hale, i need no country if it be that a "country" is such a vile and repugnant union of mercantilist vipers and boorish proles.

time was, american prosperity redefined a country with the notion of "every man a king." and let me tell you: it was long before the constitution was drafted.
