That the antis don't like having such incidents pointed out is evident by their characterizing doing so as "denigrat[ing] law enforcement." That's fine—let 'em get their knickers bunched. As long as they keep pushing the lie that those with badges are the only ones we can trust with guns, I'll keep countering it.Today's Gun Rights Examiner column presents a choice.

It looks like we'll have the same problem down here in Jefferson County, Alabama. the only difference is that the PTB have only spoken about bringing in the National Guard so now we'll have to go through the same thing they did in South Alabama last year when the local military base decided to send out the MP's to help the local cops. Here it's because the dirty politicians have sold their souls and our future for 30 pieces of silver. So much so that last week our former county president and mayor of Birmingham reported to prison in Ky.
