With apologies to Jeff Cooper, this rather reminds me of his standard response to anyone who would ask him if he was a spook:
"No, I am not. And if I were, I would still say that I am not, so what kind of a damnfool question is that?"
At any rate, I'm sure this officer acted fully within department policy. And that the policy itself is within policy. Which is confidential.
