Sheriff's quote from article: "Judges know what to do and how to be careful with a gun."

Oh, Yeah! The knowledge as well as the ability comes with the black bath robe.

In Texas, the requirements for municipal court judges, Justices of the Peace, and statutory county judges don't include any firearm training what-so-ever. And, that sheriff knows that.

Just how the hell does a title and a black dress, in a constitutional republic, enable an individual to possess powers above and beyond mortal man, and why should the State of Texas need to pass a law that "allows" any citizen to exercise a natural right?

I can't seem to reconcile their use of our justifications for citizen armament in the interests of personal safety. Didn't the bunch of them say that personal safety was better if everybody was disarmed? Didn't they say the bad guys would just take the guns away from us and shoot us with them, didn't they say that noboby has the right or need to be armed in a courtroom or government building, didn't they say that's what the cops are for?

I'm confuse. According to this new law we have convinced them that we were right, well except the "we" part I guess. So if they finally believe us, why did they not provide the same law for us?

Oh, that's right! I forgot their henhouse ways and their absolute belief they are our betters. Funny how being all superior and everything they always hire their bad shit done or send their dumber employees, after, of course, making a whole bunch of rules that give them the tactical and strategic advantage. What oh what are they going to do when we start to ignore those rules?

What? Ignore the rules?

What GIVES you the right to ignore the rules Mr. Arrow?

Yes, people who work in a building with X-ray and magnetometer screening, and protected by dozens of armed bailiffs are practically defenseless!!!

We are fast approaching the police state, where every petty government official from receptionist to dog catcher will have weapons, while the proles will not.

Mr. Longbow, at the risk of sounding arrogant, I gave me the right. A long time ago. I have ignored and will continue to ignore laws which are unconstitutional. The one thing I won't do is trespass another person to the detriment of morality or honor.

Of course, there will be times when I will pretend to obey. Simply because I cannot effectively destroy all the armed men that may be sent against me. When the time comes that pretending to obey no longer keeps them from attack, I will do what I can to be as costly as possible. I would want my family to know that their mourning, if they should, would not be a solitary exercise.

Now Longbow, I know you were being facetious and your questions were in good-hearted fun, just the same as my reply. Ain't we got fun???

Oh, and what the Hell has Duncan High School got to do with it? Call them, I never went there.

Ohhh, you didn't mean them, did you? You meant, Dumbasses Have Syphillis. You know, that government agency that so fucked up it has become its own disease.
