I seriously don't feel the need to help out those poor people. They refuse to wear condoms, or take any other protective measures against the spread of HIV.

In addition, we have plenty of our own poor that could use the resources, IMO.

The most galling thing about this travesty is that they're South Africans demanding that the U.S. help them out in their disgusting lifestyle. Let them petition their own government for help. We owe them nothing, especially since they defy God and commit such unnatural acts.

According to a Wall Street Journal Article research was recently completed regarding the effect the HIV drugs had on the spread of the disease in Africa. The research found that the number of cases of HIV greatly increased after the introduction of these drugs.

Prior to the invention of these drugs HIV was a death sentence and people were terrified. They moderated their sexual behavior. Once news of a "vaccine" spread, people returned to previous promiscuous habits, mistakenly believing the drugs to be a cure, when in fact they are palliatives that have to be taken for a patient's entire life.

An interesting moral dilemma: The existence of the treatment is the proximate cause of an increase in the evil, yet how can you refuse to treat those infected?

Between the increase in patients and the fact they require a lifetime supply of expensive medicine, the relief programs rapidly ran out of money. Without enough medicine, people shared their drugs. For example a husband might share half his medication with his wife, rather than watch her die. Using diluted doses has resulted in evolution of drug resistant strains of the disease.

And of course America is expected to pay whatever amounts are necessary to allow people to avoid responsibility for their behavior. Raise taxes and waive the magic government wand and make it all go away!
