Pizza Hut gun policy change reflects larger societal attitude

Snuck's Groceries announced this week they will no longer post "No CCW" signs in their Missouri stores. Snuck's had been an opponent of CCW since passage in 2003. They announced that contrary to their initial belief, carrying weapons now isn't the issue they originally thought.

One step of progress at least.

Legal question: since Pizza Hut bars its employees from carrying (particularly their delivery drivers), does that make them liable for injuries sustained (say the guy gets robbed and beat up)?

Toast, yes they are liable. I delivered for many, many years for PH and carried the whole time. My logic was that I would rather be alive and fired than dead and employed.

Also please note, we had no policies barring our customers from carrying in FL or NC.
