We're the Only Ones Shaming You Enough

The men featured on the flier do not face charges in the slaying or outstanding warrants for other offenses...[More]
In other words, they haven't even been charged with anything, let alone tried and convicted, but government feels it can single them out for special negative public treatment.

First, that assumes hard core gang members capable of feeling shame--some revel in notoriety, and this solidifies a street reputation that they've pulled something over on the man.

Second, it assumes it is the function of government to punish people who are legally innocent of any crime. If they can do this to gang members, they can do this to people who self-identify as militia members.

And we've seen where that leads.

Putting up a "shame" poster won't do any good. The unindited, untried, unconvicted youth have no shame. Why should they?
We know the government has no shame for any of its bad actions whatsoever.
ANd the Gubbment has taken over the role of the traditional family in many instances and locations.
Ergo (see first paragraph).

would this legitimize the use of flyers doing much the same thing with pictures of Menino, Shumer, Pelosi, Reid, McCarthy, Obama, et al? Why the fuck not?
