They need to understand what happened?
What happened was that one goon on the sheriff's department negligently discharged his weapon and hit another goon on the sheriff's department. Both goons in question are veterans of the "highly trained, elite, only ones, emergency response team".
Sheriff Hill, one of YOUR GOONS shot the other GOON! That is what the fuck happened!
Good thing these highly trained elite only ones are the only ones who have access to terrible, horrible, dangerous, deadly, killer assault rifles. If a mere mortal such as you or me had access to one, all hell could break loose!
If it's a true M-16, i bet the guy probably thought he had the safety on, but just had his selector switch on semi-auto instead of full.
I know that area well, the denizens of Durham, home of former DA "Duke Rape Case" Nyfong and the like, are the problem.
You can train them all you want, but if they don't have what it takes, and don't have the wherewithal to know they don't have what it takes, this is what you get.
Trigger discipline? Why, if I don't have my finger on the trigger, how will I make it fire?
