The reason the communist Park "Service" doesn't want the US National Anthem sung is because the only song you can sing there is the "Internationale".

The Park Service Police say they are "content-neutral." It's a sign of our times when they interpret that as meaning The People must be content-neutral when on the premises. What it means is that they are not allowed to interfere in matters of speech, no matter how much they may disagree.
The Lincoln Memorial isn't an appropriate place fo a freedom-song anyway. Suspended habeas corpus, denied states their constitutional right and power to secede. Jefferson's memorial is a more appropriate place.
