The commercial for this week's "Blue Bloods" has Tom Selleck's rookie NYPD cop son "catching his first gun collar."
I won't be watching. I don't know how last week's episode turned out, in which an ordinary mortal citizen on a subway train shot one of about five gang members -- one of whom had a pistol -- who were assaulting and robbing passengers. We know that's not allowed. The PASSENGER having a gun, I mean.
