Forgetting Their Place

Both animals advanced aggressively on me, barking loudly, snarling, and baring their teeth. [More]
So what would you do if this happened to you--in your own driveway?

unfortunately, it seems to me that it's almost a given that when you initiate anything with police you wind up in the shit, or they do nothing. it boggles my mind that anyone buys the line that the police are there to protect you. no. they are there to come in after the fact and pick up the pieces, and make accusations about everyone being guilty. i personally will never call them again.

Well, I dont think I would be as kind as the writer was, I would have killed the 1st dog, or tried my best to. If the other ran off, I would let him go in peace, but if he ever came back, it would be rifle from the window time.......

Yes, I have dogs, and if one of them got loose and tried to bite you and you shot him, I would apologize to you and offer to pay for the ammo you had to use....

He shoulda had a badge. Then he could have shot one, followed the other home, and shot it in front of the family.

The judge seems to be of the wrong mind set. First off the guy went into his home and the coast looked clear. So he went back out on his own property. The judge wanted him to call police to be able to leave his own home. This is the mind set of judges from the UK where you can't protect yourself on your own property or in your home. If you do you are as guilty as the criminal/s.

In the photo, the bad dog has a widdle scratch on his widdle head. My cat somes home with worse from fighting neighbor cats. Peroxide is a dollar a quart. The blogger's neighbors are trash, and The System would prefer that he shoot HIMSELF.
Call the police? No, no, no. It does no good anymore to provide your side of the story first; not when they have their agenda.
As more people do THIS, there'll be video evidence for court:

Do what I always do — SHOOT THE STUPID DOG!! Of course, I use a .243 and make sure they drop without a sound.

Oh, I also dump the dog in the river. After all, why buy trouble?

No, I DO NOT call the law.

Trust me. If there is a "next time," no phone calls will be made. I will quietly bury the dead evidence and slink back inside my home, pretending nothing happened.
