If They Can Do This to Cell Phones...

...they can do this to cars. [Read]

And to "smart guns."

And the winner of the coveted "Just Doesn't Get It" Award:
“Am I on a rampage,” said LaHood...“Yes, I am, and why shouldn’t I be?”
Let's just think about that for a moment.

One more reason among millions to lay claim to that which has been usurped: the control of roads.

The bad news is is that there are more important issues to worry about - the good news is that those same important issues will likely see the end of the fedgov as we know it, thus breaking their usurpation of roads (and transportation) in the process.

LaHood is a waste of air and space in an already overcrowded world and he is drawing a paycheque from an unconstitutional agency that is supported by my taxes.

What's wrong with that picture?

Hilarious. "Rampage" is often used to describe a mass shooting on campus or post offices.

Has he gone Postal?

I have seen a man in a Mercedes tooling down the interstate at 75 mph with a newspaper spread fully open in front of his steering wheel and most of his windshield, steering with his knees.
I have seen a man in a convertible driving slouched back watching porn on LCD TVs attached to both sunvisors in the middle of downtown.
I have seen a passenger raise up from an obvious act of oral sex on the driver crossing a very tall and narrow bridge.
There's also eating, drinking, smoking (whatever substance), doing makeup, changing radio stations or CDs or CLOTHES. Distracted drivers will always be with us. And what about the PASSENGERS' cell phones? Will they be jammed as well?
One state wants to make it illegal for those under a certain age to have unrelated passengers in the back seat. It's distracting to new teenage drivers to have friends in the car. No double dating, y'all. Whaddaya think you are, sovereign citizens or something?
"But officer, we are going to the Islamic center for Friday prayers."
"Oh. That's OK, then."

Onstar can already do that to a car. And that is, of course, why I won't own a "smart gun".
