Hi Dave,
'Doesn't matter if it happened yesterday (1963) or today. Typical get a bigger hammer knee-jerk responce. The bottom line is,"Imposing a mandatory 'anything' on a situation like that usually accomplishes very little if 'nothing' other than making things very burdensom for everyone." E.G. Our illustrious TSA and their enhanced "pat down searches" and their great "scatter back all seeing eye x-ray radar scanners!!"
