Whew! I was wondering if they actually thought criminals were going to use that webpage to report their crimes... until I read the article.
Somehow, "self reporting" just didn't convey the right image. LOL
The folks there just may discover that they have gotten a very good deal after all. :)
I live in Columbus and have used the system once. It actually works very well, and (at this point) is only meant for petty crime.
My GPS was stolen from my car, and it was the type of crime you know will never result in arrest, but you still want to make a public record of. Really beats waiting around all day for a cop to show up to file a pretty much useless report.
