There are some interesting admissions from the reporterette:

And the Sheriff actually touts the virtue of being able to penetrate body armor!

Yes, most cameras are for right-handers,so it appears she was ready to headshoot her cameraman, but I hope the videographer was holding it WAY out away from himself from her left. What could go wrong. Just don't flip that finger thing that goes down until you're ready to OW!
Not part of the gun culture. Few journalists are, therefore they go all Chuck Schumer weak-in-the-knees when they get the chance to put lead downrange.
Brownie points for saying "SEMIautomatic rifle," but she follows it up with "full of torque."
