The bill was introduced late Monday by Rep. Steve Farley of Tucson and 19 other Democratic lawmakers. [More]Well, that's certainly a shocker.
Here's the bill.
Some suggest being tactful and polite in the face of such naked insults.
I'm not one of them.

Oh me... so much for "constitutional carry" in AZ. They STILL don't get it.
Politicians DON'T trust us mere peons...that's the whole point. To them, we are ALL potential assassins and it's their ultimate goal to disarm everyone except their "professional security" - for now. Eventually even the "only ones" will have to check out weapons and ammo from the armory for duty - and then check them back in before they go home - after all, they have no "need" to be armed except in their "official capacity".
Well, like the bumper sticker says, "Politicians prefer unarmed peasants."
If the "excessive capacity" ban becomes law... then what? No more sales, certainly, but beyond that? Remember that certain handgun barrels that were banned from importation were traced to their owners through the mail-order companies that sold them.
That was specific collectible foreign-made pistol parts, which is bad enough. THIS is the heart of the RKBA.
No, no civility called for.
So the very Minority Dems introduced the bill.
It's has the proverbial snowballs chance of passing the AZ House!
