Besides wanting to abolish the 2A, he's got the whole socialist wish list as well.

Without going too deeply into the matter, the inclusion of the Bill of Rights was conditional for the Constitution's adoption in the first place.

Even if the Second Amendment were to be repealed, that would STILL not legally allow the fedgov to pass one law restricting the keeping and carrying of arms.

As the Declaration of Independence recognizes, the Creator grants rights to individuals - the government can respect these rights as currently demanded by black letter law, or it can infringe upon these rights and thus subvert the very purpose for its existence.

The Declaration of Independence also has choice words about governments that have grown counter to their own reason for existence.
