Talk about your "Dreyfuss" moment...........And why oh why didn't anyone at EPA call the ball on this guy? Ans: They're all in it, up to their necks. Just before the Revolution in 1789 in France, the clerks and aristocracy were running roughshod over the peasants there too. Funny how that worked out.
Maybe Gibson Guitar Co. might want to talk with WLF.

And let's not forget, Richard Nixon created the EPA.
Would Romney kill the EPA? No.
I love it when the EPA get's taken down a notch. Maybe Phillips can share a cell with Holder.
David I have to disagree with the slitting throats thing, that is much too kind for these abusers.
How about strip Phillips of his savings, assets and pension. Then take his family's savings, assets and pensions, then his near relatives', just the way Mr. Vidrine had to have gone though *his* and his family's and relatives' assets when he was trying to defend himself in court. Let Phillips' neighbors hold bake sales so he can buy shoes for his kids (if they like him well enough that is), let his wife go through the Social Services meatgrinder to get Food Stamps and housing assistance.
Oh, yeah, and send that tyrannical jackal Phillips to prison. Not some white-boy, min-sec country club but someplace like Folsom or Attica or Oak Park Heights Supermax.
Judge Doherty also determined that Phillips acted maliciously. She based that determination on
evidence indicating that: (1) Phillips had a personal vendetta against Vidrine; (2) he was “giddy” with
“newly minted power” after being promoted to the head of the Canal Refinery investigation in 1999; and
(3) he used the continuing investigation for purposes of carrying on an extra-marital affair with the chief
FBI agent assigned to the case. That agent, Ekko Barnhill, lived in Louisiana, while Phillips lived with
his wife in Dallas. Judge Doherty determined that maintaining criminal proceedings facilitated the sexual
affair because it provided Phillips with the opportunity to travel to Louisiana to see Barnhill while he was
also working on the Vidrine prosecution.
I bet Mrs Phillips could recommend another part of Mr Phillips's anatomy as a better candidate for slitting.
