There is a provision in the Kingpin Act for “authorized” law enforcement and intelligence activities, however the only procedure by which an Operation Fast and Furious program could have been “authorized” under the Kingpin Act was by the U.S. attorney general requesting a waiver (known within the Treasury Department as a Specific License), prior to any such operation being undertaken. [More]Oh, that is good!
Kind of like the only way they could have gotten around ITAR provisions would have been if State had authorized it.

Powerful information, WOW!
Is Mike going to be bringing this up to persons he meets in Washington? I'd like to see some of these questions asked. Johnny Gee
I am completely jaded. I do not believe there will be anything resembling true justice in this whole affair. There may be one or two mid-level bureaucrats sacrificed in an attempt to appease the angry mob. That will be all. The lap dog news media will be complicit.
The same crooks will go on doing the same things. The Oath-Breaking enforcers, who work for the crooks running the agencies/departments, will still go out and do their bidding.
The passive American People will still be seen as "sheep" to be controlled and herded, and sheered. The vigilant American People will still be seen as "the enemy" to be set up, confronted, and stomped on.
The United Socialist State of North America will continue continue to descend into the economic quagmire that is socialism, for the good of the children. And "...the road goes on forever and the party never ends..."
The whole campaign to preserve liberty may not be over, but the battle to save the Republic is lost.
