Almost keeping old hunting rifles out of the hands of undercover police investigators is a benefit to society that's worth the substantial expense of an eleven month investigation, even during a time of fiscal crisis for the state? Given that nothing was accomplished, except turning the lives of ten, otherwise law-abiding men upside down, any price seems too steep.
Schneiderman is an insignificant dolt, but Governor Cuomo's presidential ambitions make pinning the stench of this stenchiferous affair on him a possibly productive exercise. He shouldn't let his AG abuse people like that.
