So the rulers aren't civilians? What are they, a military junta?

I am not a "civilian". I am a Citizen. I make that very clear to any government employee I come into contact with.

Yeah, Chris Mallory, but you are actually a "Mere Citizen". Instead of a Master, or an Only One. Heck, you're probably not even a Preferred Species! So that should tell you just where you fall on the scales of "justice"...

The Texas legislature forces us to do the security dance, unless we have a ccw. All because some assclown fired a gun outside the capitol after visiting with a certain highly self aggrandizing senator. Seems we never had any problems before this fairly recent incident but any excuse to show the serfs exactly where we fall in the pecking order.

Citizen? What does that mean? Some State has an alleged legitimate dominion over me. I am not a citizen, sovereign or otherwise. I am a human being.
