You're Right, Dennis: It IS a Gun Problem

There aren't enough of them in the right hands. [Read]

Stupid edicts like the ones you demand discourage that, and give the advantage to murderers.

You and your fellow subversives personally share in the blame. Look at your hands--the blood isn't just all over your dancing shoes.

Since the PuffHo site denied my account and ability to comment I'll post my comment to Henigan's minions here:

Abusus non tollit usum. (Abuse is not an argument against legitimate use.) Frankly, guns are used far more often to preserve life than to take it, but you'd probably disagree. Chardon et al are tragedies, no question, but they were committed by criminals and mental defectives. Preventing them access would require universal disarmament, the tyrants dream! Will you disarm the government as well as the people? Doubtful.
Would you refuse to kill to defend innocent life, the life of one of your children for instance? Failure to do so is moral cowardice. If you are not armed, how do you propose to do so? Wait for the police to arrive?
Are you really saying there is no evil in the world, no one evil enough that they need to be killed? Do you believe that guns in the hands of governments are OK but in the hands of citizens for their own defense they are not? The right to bear arms has been the accepted hallmark of a free citizen throughout history. An unarmed man is a slave. I place more trust in armed citizens than in slaves. Be a slave if you wish, but I will NOT be. Armed government + disarmed people = tyranny; tyrants enslave and murder. The tyranny you suggest is repulsive and it will be resisted by force. Are you really willing to trigger a civil war over this issue? 3%...
