BS-O-Meter

Oh, good grief, Erin O'Neill. [More]

If they break the law that's a "loophole"?

You might as well say there's a "loophole" to allow someone to present false ID and lie on the 4473. Or there's a "loophole" to pay someone to straw purchase for them. Or there's a "loophole" that allows them to steal guns.

What a dishonest/incompetent presentation of an issue from someone representing herself as representing the tested truth.

I've never heard of any member of the Gun Confiscation Lobby who wouldn't lie, most of them appear unable to tell the truth when that's easier.

"A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." - 2nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, as ratified by the States and authenticated by Secretary of State Thomas Jefferson

Why is it that Lautenberg and others have a problem upholding the U.S. Constitution?

What other civil rights do they believe should be violated?

The point here, is there is an apparatus in place that attempts to claim it is a "truth-o-meter" when it is in fact run by radical anti-liberty progressives (they're on both sides, conservative and liberal). It is run by the Tampa Bay Times, formerly known as the St.Petersberg times, the Star Ledger joined this progressive agenda to be a voice for New Jersey. So they stick a college student who's not getting paid usually to "fact check" statements, but only if they adhere to a progressive agenda, which is one where there is no belief in true liberty, they go off of an essay written in the 50's separating liberty into positive, and negative liberty... guess which one real liberty is to them? Knowing this agenda, it's safe to say, politifact is indeed going to be spewing out bullshit galore, even on things they get 100% correct. Make sure you keep an eye out for their progressive agenda in the writeups.
