Here's an update to yesterday's column. A family spokesperson is pleased with the results of yesterday's court proceedings, and believes the defense did a great job discrediting the prosecution's case.
What's important is whether or not a jury, which does not have the same loyalty or emotional investment, will feel the same way.

The railroad job the government has done on these folks makes the Union Pacific look like a kiddie ride.
